Magic Swimmer 125
Depending on the size of barra you are targeting, and the depth you are fishing, the Magic swimmer 125 and 145 are must have lures for barra fishing in any situation. The 125 is a slow sinking lure, ideal for casting at snags, drains or any kind of structure.
The 125 can be slowly twitched and has an action that barra cannot resist. When targeting big barra, take the tail treble off the lure and just run with something like a #4 or #2 Owner ST66 treble on the belly. |

Koolie Minnow 136 ML
As an all-round barra casting lure, the 136ML is ideal. It dives to about 8ft, and can be twitched, slow rolled, or trolled. The 136ML has full wire construction with extra strong hooks and rings to stand up to the toughest barra.

The koolie minnow 102LL is the ideal all round barra and jack casting lure. Diving to 4m+ when cast and retrieved, or over 6m when trolled, the 102LL will get down deep in a hurry. Magic Swimmer Soft 130
This is lure is also available in 160mm and 200mm sizes for big barra, but the 130 soft magic swimmer is a deadly weapon on barra. Fished with the sebile soft weight system you can make this lure do just about anything.
Fish it with the hook concealed for working snagless through heavy cover or weeds, expose the hook and fish it deep and slow over structure, or move the weights around to get a slow sink dying flutter effect.
