Who is Sébile?
French angler Patrick Sébile is CEO, founder and lure designer of his namesake tackle company, SÉBILE Innovative Fishing, which he started in 2006. An IGFA Representative and dedicated conservationist of fish and their habitats, Sébile ran his own sportfishing lodge in Africa for over 15 years, he has written seven books on fishing including one titled Les Poissons a Pecher dans Toutes les Mers du Monde (Sportfish of All the World's Seas) and hundreds of articles. His photo has graced over 150 fishing magazine covers. At one time or another, Sébile has held 300 IGFA, European and French fishing records.
Patrick Sébile is a fanatical angler who spends most of his time at large touring the world's waters with outdoor journalists, professional guides and renowned anglers worldwide. Since 1984, Sébile has meticulously kept his own records of species caught while traveling the globe to fish in fresh and salt water in 63 countries. In June 2010 Sébile landed his 600th species of fish a Vermillion Snapper while fishing off the Catalina Islands, California.

SÉBILE has only been in business for four years, since 2006, and already the company has won eleven of the international tackle industry's most highly-coveted awards, including winning awards at all three of the world's major international tackle trade shows in 2010, ICAST in the USA, EFTTEX in Spain and AFTA on the Gold Coast. To have such success in such a short time is exceptional and unprecedented, and a testament to Sebile's commitment to innovation, quality manufacture and performance.
At the Australian Fishing and Tackle Association's trade show held from August 14-16, 2010 on the Gold Coast, SÉBILE won an unprecedented four awards, including Best Hard Lure for its Koolie Minnow BRL Big Round Lip, Best Soft Lure for its Magic Swimmer Soft, Best Terminal Tackle for the SÉBILE Soft Weight System, and Best Medium Stand for its booth with casting length lure demonstration tank. No company or brand has ever won four awards at this show before.

The European Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition in Valencia, Spain with Best Hard Lure for its D&S Crank, Best Metal Lure for its Pro-Shad Spinnerbait and Best Terminal Tackle for the SÉBILE Soft Weight System.
July 2010 at ICAST, the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades in Las Vegas, Nevada.
SÉBILE won the Best Terminal Tackle award for the SÉBILE Soft Weight System.
In August 2010 at AFTA, the Australian Fishing Tackle Association trade show on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
